Its a labor intensive process that involves making water based paints, binders, and glue using natural materials. Organic inorganic pigments cochineal vinegar salt oxidized Japanese silver leaf (on Arches hot press paper) all play their part in this finely veiled, multi layered painting. This piece has a rich, earthy warmth it feels like a landscape remembered
