Korkenzieher Sottsass Color:Red-Pink-Yellow a quarter-circle segmentLoud, colorful, and cheerful are the small table sculptures by the master of Italian design Ettore Sottsass. Cylinders, discs, spheres stacked in contrasting colors, they become solid pepper mills. Essentially, they are just basic shapes with familiar mechanics. But the arrangement and coloring invite interaction: 'Play with Me' seems to be their message. Unusual and thought provoking in the 1980s, they are now classics once again.
