Solid hooks and reckless energy are the glue that holds this one together
Nest finds the group more settled and confident than ever
It’s an energetic listen that you will want to delve through over and over again
how the only moment is this one and it's just passed
but surely one that isn’t afraid to incorporate elements of other genres if they contribute to the bleak and desperate atmosphere created
THE WAR GOES ON - s/t CD Sweater Solid hooks and reckless energyDebut album from this new Danish band that features former members of No Hope for the Kids and Hjerte Stop. If you were a big NHFTK fan (and who wasn't in like 2004?) you'll immediately recognize the distinctive vocals, but The War Goes On is a little different. While the dark melodies and catchy vocals are very much intact from NHFTK, the music is generally faster and more straightforwardly punk a la Hjerte Stop maybe I'm just listening for it
