applies his signature minimal-intervention approach to this cuvée

This is a wine for collectors and connoisseurs alike

The nose is beautifully perfumed and layered

rounded out by a warm

slight brioche and a salty chalky core straight from that Cote de Blancs hillside

Closeries des Moussis, Closeries des Moussis Haut Medoc, 2019 moving_liquidation_2 applies his signature minimal-intervention approachThe most 'classical' of the Moussis lineup, this has Margaux esque qualities not unlike the Haut Medoc made by Jaugueyron. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, (70%), with a little Merlot and Cab Franc as well. A brilliant melange of black cherries, blackberries and cassis with ascending, graphite like minerality and only the faintest touch of horse saddle. Scrumptious now, but also good to age for 10 20 years.
