Bruno Giacosa, Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva Red label, 2011 so052925 pato family wines Ideal for pairing with grilledThis is as close to the top of Barolo as it gets. Bruno Giacosa reserved his famous red label for only a handful of bottlings he deemed truly exceptional, and Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva is the crown jewel, a vineyard selection from the sweet spot of the Falletto cru in Serralunga d'Alba. The vines sit on a steep, southwest facing amphitheater of calcareous clay that Giacosa considered the finest ground in the region for elegant, long lived Barolo.
