Excellia Tequila Anejo Santa Barbara The cherries are pitted beforeThe Excellia brand is the product of a collaboration between legendary Tequila producer Carlos Camarena and EWG Wine & Spirits founder Jean Sebastien Robicquet. The Tequila Anejo is aged for 18 months in a combination of 80% old Cognac and 20% 1st refill Grand Cru Sauternes casks. On the nose, fresh agave, roasted poblano, green peppercorn, and menthol. In the background some nutty dried fruits and old wood. Taut, lean entry opens up to a big buttery
