Pair with: crab cakes

this wine carries a legacy of craftsmanship and precision

with lingering notes of fruit

where nature constantly creates new expressions from year to year

on shallow soils over the Turonian tuffeau chalk that gives Saumur-Champigny its signature freshness and mineral cut

Domaine Ledogar, Le Petit Melancolie, 2024 so022626 gahier offer Pair with: crab cakesA still, dry white made from Macabeo the grape better known for Cava and white Rioja by the Ledogar brothers, biodynamic standard bearers in a remote corner of Corbieres. They farm old vines with horses, no herbicides or pesticides, and bottle unfined and unfiltered, so even this easygoing cuvee comes out vivid and alive. Le Petit Melancolie is the relaxed end of the range: a fresh, textural southern white with real character for the price. Serve well
