Elio Grasso, Barolo Ginestra Vigna Casa Mate, 2013 SO061124_Vetter2021 it ferments in just 5%The 2013 cool, precision focused vintage suits this limestone driven vineyard perfectly. Elio Grasso's Ginestra Casa Mat from this year shows the aromatic purity and mineral salinity that make great Barolo. The vineyard's position on predominantly limestone soils with clay patches channels energy into phenolic ripeness rather than mere sugar. A wine that rewards patience, building complexity over 15 20 years in the cellar. Classic Monforte structure.
