Rijckaert, Arbois Savagnin Grand Elevage Vieilles Vignes, 2022 112205OFFER combining the region’s hallmark eleganceRijckaert has holdings in Burgundy and the Jura, and they focus almost exclusively on two grapes: Chardonnay and Savagnin. We were impressed by the intense minerality of this wine, coupled with the richness of fruit and complexity of structure. From organically farmed vines on classic blue marl soils, this is fresh and clean (there's definitely Burgundian influence here), with yellow hued fruit (pear, lemon) and lots of salinity.
