Chateau Les Cruzelles, Lalande-de-Pomerol, 2022 SO 042525 marked by warm and consistentThis is Right Bank pedigree at a fraction of the fame. Les Cruzelles was the Lalande de Pomerol project of the late Denis Durantou, the celebrated hand behind Pomerol's L'Eglise Clinet, and it delivers his signature elegance from vineyards just outside Pomerol proper, barely a kilometer from the famed plateau. Merlot dominant with Cabernet Franc, hand harvested, fermented in cement and aged in 40% new oak, the 2022 comes from a warm, generous vintage.
