lingering finish on the palate

Rubinelli Vajol Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, Veneto, Italy 2015 Case (6x750ml) San Juan and red fruitA slightly broody nose with aromas of overripe raspberries, some oyster shell and fresh herbs, such as lemon grass. Medium to full bodied with quietly intense fruit and a lightly firm tannin framework. Focused fruit on the finish. This still needs plenty of time to expand. Best from 2024. 94 Pts James Suckling
