peach and bay leaf
The pinot character comes through nicely here with strawberries and baking spices with dried orange peel
lemon blossoms and white pepper on the finish
and allspice that add a tingling sensation to the nose
This dense and bold wine has supple tannins and great acid
2019 | Brancaia Ilatraia Toscana Rosso | Tuscany Barbera - Nebbiolo peach and bay leafThis wine strides forward with an extremely herbaceous nose, from oregano to thyme to tomato leaf. It also conveys the peppery savoriness of capsicum plus the depth of newly turned soil and a final pop of sour cherries. The palate continues the theme, with more peppers and cherries, but also sundried tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Polished and consistent tannins make for a fun but slick balance of savory and sweet. 94 Pts Wine Enthusiast
