Description

a spicy texture

fruit cake

The texture appears as fat and oily

The only problem I have: the wine is already pretty matured

As I wrote last year

Alexana Revana Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, USA 2021 goose and game birds a spicy textureFrom the dry farmed Revana site, with tremendous soil diversity in the Dundee Hills. There are pungent, haunting earthy aromas of mushroom, soy and dark fleshy red and black fruits. The palate is fairly fruit forward and focused, with notes of black tea mingling with warm red and black fruits. There is a touch of perceptible heat on the finish. 91 Pts Decanter
