Castelvecchio NV Il Riposo del Soldato Red Vermouth Rosso Varietal_Sauvignon Blanc after a decade of purchasingRather than creating a classic Turin style vermouth, Castelvecchio developed Il Riposo del Soldato to showcase its own estate red wine through the lens of Friuli and Karst tradition. Made with a higher proportion of wine than is customary and infused with regional botanicals, it expresses the distinctive character of the Carso as much as it does the art of vermouth.
