It has a higher-toned bouquet than the Village Cru
One of the most concentrated wines of the vintage (as well as one of the most concentrated Bordeaux’s I have ever tasted)
Young and lively the beautiful straw yellow color with greenish hints
Fresh from the icebox and used to proverbially fist-bump a cubic foot of cheese and charcuterie
Shows tension and finesse
