Domaine Comtesse de Cherisey La Genelotte Meursault-Blagny Premier Cru, France 2011 Meursault bright floral bouquet with hintsTasted blind at the Burgundy horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Meursault Blagny 1er Cru La Genelotte from Martelet de Cherisey exhibits a slight flatness on the nose compared to the first wine, again with just a little SO2 evident. The palate is medium bodied with a pleasant saltiness on the entry. This is nicely balanced with well judged acidity, that saline element threaded through right to the poised, mineral tinged finish. 90 Pts Robert Parker
