I Favati Taurasi Terzotratto 2011 extra-brut-selection An aromatic double-fermented quince teaA full bodied meditation on Campania's most prestigious Aglianico, now well into its evolution. Thirty six months in barrel have softened the early power, revealing layers of anise, tar, and blackberry alongside mineral salinity and hints of mocha. Dusty cherries and white smoke with flowery undergrowth on the nose, while the palate coasts with grippy tannins and notes of salted licorice. Serious wine that rewards contemplation.
