Faithful to its French origins
violets and some tar on the nose
This wine is Gina Giugni's salute to the blended whites of Cheverny in the Loire Valley
The palate is medium-bodied with a little reduction on the entry
Firm and tense with a lingering finish
2021 | Serene Recolte Grand Cru Chardonnay | Dundee Hills Chateau Pape Clement Faithful to its French originsWhen you put "grand cru" on the label, you have to walk the talk. This wine pulls it off. Lemon tarts and catmint aromas waltz with wisps of straw and fresh coconut. A thick coating of lemon curd and warm brioche butters up the palate, with a touch of ginger and lemon verbena tea adding to the fun. The wine's acidity and texture are equally gentle. 96 Pts Wine Enthusiast
